Bible Reference: ‘…”The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.’ (Ezekiel 12:23 NKJV)
Yesterday we consider some of the processes to go through as you attempt to catch God’s vision for yourself or the people of God, today we will consider two more:
(3). Look Around You: What is happening to others?
I believe you know that it is far better to learn from others than to learn from your own experience. Yes, for two reasons (a) it saves you lots of time; and (b) it saves you a lot of pains. Bishop David Oyedepo says he read 15 biographies of world-class universities before starting Covenant University. I believe you know the results he gets. Look around you diligently, what’s happening to others with similar vision. In which area can you improve? Study your surrounding extensively and take the best route available to your destination.
(4). Look Ahead of You: What is the big picture?
Let me put this straight to you – there is no valid vision without loads of obstacles. But how clear your vision is will determine how tenacious you’ll be in the pursuit of it. You can seize only what you can see. God told Abraham – “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are – northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. (Genesis 13:14-15 NKJV). Do you get the message in that? You can’t be a part of a future you can’t envision. That is the more reason the Israelites perished in the wilderness. It is the big picture you have in your mind that keep you moving; it fuels the fire within you and drives you full speed to your dreamland. A pastor once said, ‘if it’s fuzzy in the pulpit, it’s foggy in the pew.” You need a clear mental picture of your future to be able to communicate it to others.

✓ Pray very well on today’s message and pray the prayers below seriously
✓ Rivers flow forward and not backward. Any water that is stagnant breeds mosquitoes, germs and becomes smelly. Father, banish stagnation and retrogression in my life from this day.
✓ I shall always go forward and not backward, in the name of Jesus Christ.
